Mark brings over 25 years of design, project management, and construction experience to his role as Managing Director of OKW Architects. He oversees a wide-range of project and staffing functions, is a market leader for mixed-use, retail, and residential work, and maintains focus toward fostering client relationships. With an Architecture degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a licensed architect in the state of Illinois, Mark’s influence can be seen through the design and execution of scores of built projects throughout the Chicago area, and nationwide.Born and raised in a small Midwestern town, Mark’s visit to Chicago in high school was the defining moment of realization that he wanted to be an architect; he’s been a city dweller ever since. Much of Mark’s time outside OKW is spent with his wife Michelle and daughter Nora, enjoying their shared passion for travel, creative cuisine, live music, and occasional neighborhood art festival.
