With nearly a decade of experience in Boston and Chicago metropolitan areas, Melissa has collected expertise working on and managing projects ranging from country clubs to retail developments to mixed use programs. Her favorite projects require versatility and push the boundaries for creative solutions. As a registered Architect in the state of Illinois, Melissa leads our licensing initiatives here at OKW, coordinating resources and mentoring staff to complete licensure.
Outside the office Melissa can be found volunteering her time with the Avondale Neighborhood Association as a zoning committee member, Alderman liaison, and community plan lead. Her efforts use planning and management skills to help the Chicago neighborhood, which has been increasing in popularity, maintain a voice in development which respects the past while mindfully looking to the future.
