A penchant for freehand drawing and taking stuff apart led Cody to the field of architecture. Although he was initially drawn to engineering, the way that architecture combines art and design into one cohesive product made him a believer. Cody sees architecture as a means to improve the world around us, to give structure and certainty to an increasingly unpredictable world.
Born and raised in Chicago, Cody studied architecture at University of Illinois and brings to OKW a passion for seeing how the world works, taking it apart, and making it better. When he’s not wearing his architect’s hat, this former running back can be found enjoying measurable gains at the gym.
