Matt studied Architecture at the University of Illinois at Chicago. While there, he was interested in the technical facets of architecture learning about different materials and construction types. He experimented with designing and building furniture. After graduating from UIC in 2013, Matt worked in construction while saving to pay for grad school. In 2015, he began his Masters degree at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. While studying at SAIC he interned with another architecture firm. Matt prides himself on technical drafting skills and his willingness to learn. He is interested in process oriented approaches to urbanism and architecture.
Matt is an avid Chicago sports fan. For fun, he enjoys being active, going to the gym, golfing, playing sports and playing rugby on the beach. He also enjoy weekend road trips and his motorcycle.
