Merit Club

Merit Club invited OKW to help revive the club’s main entry and dining experience.  After collaborating with Merit Club in developing goals for the revitalization, resolution focused mainly on new finish and furniture selections with selective architectural elements to highlight a new feature bar and existing fireplaces. 

Reflective of a country estate, the design exposes the beautiful landscape views while embracing the existing transitional architecture.  White wood planks highlight the tray ceilings and give prominence to the existing fireplaces.  Different textures with marble textured stone, a woven leather bar front, and brass metal details give an air of elegance and soft sophistication.  Neutral tones with pops of color at strategic areas of architecture and furniture selections complement the outside views and brighten the interior.
