Ron was born in Hong Kong and moved to Chicago when he was 6. After moving to Chicago, he attended school in both the South and North side of the city. Ron Graduated from Illinois Institute of Technology in 2011 with a Bachelor of Architecture. He now has over 5 years of work experience, working on a wide range of projects, from residential mixed-use to large medical complexes.
To keep himself busy outside of work, Ron has developed a wide range of hobbies including golfing, building furniture and tending to miniature apple and lemon trees.
I knew I wanted to be a designer/architect when: I was in 6th grade after watching a special on PBS about Chicago architecture
3 things I could not live without: Music, tea, and my favorite bourbon
If I won the lottery, I would: I think I would retire, buy a loft downtown with enough space for a woodshop and a greenhouse.
Favorite Chicago sports team: Unfortunately, The Chicago Bulls (they’re awful right now)
