With a diverse background in consulting and higher education, Megan joins the OKW team with a vision to bring a strategic lens to the firm’s overall goals through business development, marketing initiatives, and operational effectiveness. She received a bachelor’s degree from UC San Diego and later a Master’s in counseling and college student development at DePaul University in 2013, jumpstarting a career in higher education. Megan’s experience developing job search strategies as a career counselor for MBA students led her to consulting at Huron Consulting Group where she focused on strategic enrollment management and student success at universities across the country. Her demonstrated initiative to approach a new challenge and execute results led her to this new, exciting opportunity at OKW.
A Southern California native, Megan’s been turned a Chicago convert having lived in the city for almost 10 years. She enjoys walking along the river with her dog Robey, frequenting the many Chicago food & drink establishments, doughnuts, and sitting on patios (when weather allows). Megan recently moved to a new condo in the Avondale neighborhood, but dreams of owning a 3-flat in the city where those aforementioned dog walks can happen in her backyard.
