ABOUT THE POSITION
We can’t be a thriving architecture studio without smart, talented people. Thanks to several new projects, we’re looking for amazing professionals to join our team.
OKW is seeking a full-time Project Architect with 7+ years experience in the industry, and experience working on a variety of commercial project types.
We are looking for someone with excellent organizational skills who can creatively solve complex issues in a fast-paced environment while also mentoring junior staff.
Responsibilities will include preparation of Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents. If interested, you should be comfortable in all aspects of project development and delivery, including programming, code/zoning analysis, entitlement process, construction documentation, bidding, permitting, and construction administration.
We also like our OKWers to be creative, passionate, and to bring all of themselves to the office (tattoos, underground music taste, and book club ideas welcome).
REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICANTS
NAAB accredited degree in architecture
7+ years of professional experience working in architecture
Must be actively pursuing licensure or be a licensed architect
Candidates should be fluent in use of AutoCAD, Revit, and the Adobe suite of products. Strong candidates will have experience in Lumion or an interest in learning to use the software.
The ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities is key.
Strong leadership, communication, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work well with a broad array of personality types
SALARY
