Senior Project Architect
ABOUT THE POSITION
OKW is looking for a full-time Senior Project Architect with over 10 years of experience to join our studio.
Our clients are busy reimagining the world of mixed-use, retail, and hospitality developments. The Senior Project Architect should have a history of successful collaborations in large, complex developments with robust project teams. We are looking for someone who has excellent organizational skills, can lead project meetings, approaches problems with rigor and creativity, and is ready to mentor junior staff.
Candidates for this position should be intimately familiar with the typical development of projects (programming, code/zoning/entitlement issues, construction documentation, bidding, permitting, and construction administration). Preferred candidates should also understand how to coordinate project meetings, engage in or lead client-facing discussions, and manage their team’s work output.
REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICANTS
NAAB Accredited Degree in Architecture
10+ years of professional experience working in architecture
We ask that applicants be officially licensed as an Architect or demonstrate an active pursuit of licensure.
Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Strong candidates will have demonstrated experience with large, ground-up retail and mixed-use developments.
SALARY
Commensurate with experience
