Robert is motivated by a better built environment. Whether it’s aimed at holistic design, sustainability, or creating community, he uses his experience in education, municipal, and mixed-use projects to leave a positive mark on the world. This began in high school when a drafting class called to both sides of his brain, its combination of arts and construction immediately hooking him.

Architecture would prove useful outside the classroom. Whether building theater sets or admiring the demountable stages where his favorite artists would play, he quickly began to see how the world was put together.

Outside the office, you’ll find Robert at a jazz, blues, or rock show, honing his watercolor technique, or spending time outdoors.
