Throughout the greater part of 2020, the Urban Land Institute was a source of resilience, hope, and inspiration for many in the architecture and design community. The organization created Tales From the Front Line, a weekly newsletter that offered compassionate thoughts on the industry and the new and unexpected challenges posed by COVID-19. Our CEO Jon Talty provided his insightful and reassuring perspective in the newsletter’s first six issues.
Tales From the Front Line would continue into the summer with thoughts from the top professionals in architecture, design, construction, and commercial real estate. As 2021 dawned, the Urban Land Institute assembled these same voices into a comprehensive video. Jon joins his fellow ULI members in providing an uplifting and optimistic look forward while reflecting on how we’ve changed for the better in the wake of a global health crisis.
