OVERLOOKED: Pan de Vida opens in Little Village

A much needed food pantry opened in Little Village last week.

What began as a modest food pantry serving 1,000 people a week grew to 30,000 thanks to a partnership with the Greater Chicago Food Depository. Pan de Vida (“Bread of Life”) is now a crucial, community-focused resource, brought to life thanks to wonderful people, dedicated professionals, and local artists.
